BOOK # 1, "Brother To Brother, Tom and Jeff" is the first step, the introduction book to the novels that will soon follow. Book 1 is a who, when, and why book, introducing the reader to some short stories, the characters and setting of these two young explorers. There are poems in book one that are, actually, short stories within and each is from the heart so you could say, it's a perfect start.
I have the special privilege of providing a link to our heritage for future generations. It is about yesterday, It is about today, which will be history tomorrow. I can put words on paper which will prevent my life and the lives of other members of my family from slipping into oblivion, leaving yet another generation with only a tenuous link to our heritage.
When I was young, I unwittingly started what I guess could be called a family tradition, filming everything. We lived in a small town in Northern California and had no close neighbors. My only way to devise my own fun was my brother. We were fourteen months apart but connected souls from the start. We enriched each other with contagious enthusiasm. Never separate, we were explorers of the world, conquerors of our town, masters of our street. I will tell you a story, It really happened....
